The second day of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction is set to take place at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah on Monday. The proceedings will start with a batch of 32 players across five sets before moving to the accelerated auction in the latter half of the day.
On Day 1, franchises spent ₹467.95 crore to acquire 72 players out of 84 that went under the hammer. The auction will resume with Player No. 85, Mayank Agarwal, in Set No. 13 and continue until Player No. 117, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, in Set No. 17.
The accelerated auction, which allows franchises to focus on specific targets, will follow after this initial phase. With significant budgets already utilized, Day 2 promises strategic bidding as teams look to finalize their squads.
